Violet red.

Nose

Red plums, raspberries, black pepper spice, a touch of vanilla.

Palate

Light bodied. Soft on the front palate with red plums and raspberries, and sweet vanilla upfront. Astringent, verging on bitter in the mid-palate, leading into a short and tart finish.

Overall

Unfortunately, this wine really isn't worth the $7.50 they are asking for it. It's not at all pleasant, and while a good robust meal will hide most of its flaws and make it almost palatable, it's simply not worth it: there are plenty of lovely drops around this price point or even cheaper.
