Medium bodied. Fresh, juicy pineapple with a good light acidity leading into a clean finish. Reasonable length.
Overall
Tocai Friulano is a somewhat obscure varietal outside its native north-east Italy, but the result in Escorihuela's hands stacks up well against the usual Argentine Torrontes and tropical-styled Sauvignon Blancs as a great summer afternoon refresher. There's not a whole lot going on on the palate, but what there is is hard to fault. A good option in a country where it can be hard to find quality white.
