Light bodied. Ripe juicy plums with vanilla notes, balanced with a gentle acidity. Few tannins. No real length.
Overall
There isn't anything very complicated happening in this malbec - just ripe fruit with a hint of vanilla oak. While there is no length or interest at all in the finish, it does recede pleasantly enough without any harsh or bitter notes. Nice easy early drinking style - "Benjamin", rather than being a name, in this case is used by the bodega as a slang for "baby" or "little one" - a quaffer for summer afternoons perhaps.
